Complete instructions for managing your events and live chat

Creating New Events

1. Go to Events > Add New in your WordPress dashboard
2. Enter the event title (e.g., “Full Moon Tarot Reading”)
3. Add event description and details
4. Set the Event Date & Time in the right sidebar
5. Add Event Cost (optional)
6. Add a Featured Image for visual appeal
7. Click Publish

Managing Events

• View all events: Events > All Events
• Edit events by clicking on them
• Delete past events or mark as draft
• View calendar: Visit Events Page or Events > Calendar

Event Settings

Customize calendar appearance: Events > Settings

• Display options (list, month, day views)
• Default view settings
• Events slug URL
• Time zone settings

Initial Setup (One-Time)

1. Go to Settings > Tawk.to in WordPress dashboard
2. Click “Create Free Account” or sign in if you have one
3. Create your Tawk.to account at tawk.to
4. Once logged in, copy your Property ID and Widget ID
5. Paste these IDs in the WordPress Tawk.to settings
6. Click Save Changes

Customizing Chat Widget

In your Tawk.to dashboard (dashboard.tawk.to):

• Widget Color: Set to purple (#6B46C1) to match your theme
• Widget Position: Bottom right (recommended)
• Offline Message: Customize what visitors see when youre offline
• Pre-Chat Form: Collect name, email before chat starts
• Chat Triggers: Auto-open after X seconds on page

Managing Chats

• Download Tawk.to mobile app (iOS/Android) to chat on the go
• Or use desktop app from tawk.to/downloads
• View chat history and analytics in your Tawk.to dashboard
• Set up canned responses for common questions
• Add multiple agents if you have team members
